Our vision is to be the best property company in the UK in the eyes of our customers, communities, partners and employees. Our sustainability vision reflects this ambition. We aim to be the sustainability leader in the UK listed real estate sector – a company that pioneers better ways to approach everything from community employment to energy, waste and biodiversity.

This year we defined the sustainability issues that are most important to our stakeholders and our business. Then we refined our strategy and set more challenging commitments.

We also launched our Sustainability Matters training programme to everyone within the company. We were active participants at the Paris Climate Conference and have now set a new science based carbon reduction target. And we took a leadership role on areas as diverse as employment, energy and biodiversity.

In the sustainability section of our website we talk about our priorities, the actions we’ve taken and the progress we’ve made – from green electricity to an employment programme that’s helping to transform lives and support communities.
